Perfect Drying PlasmaTYPHOON is designed to reduce the risk of infection by perfectly drying endoscopes. Insufficient drying can be a source of microbial contamination and the transmission of infectious material.
Controlled Storage Storing reprocessed endoscopes in the PlasmaBAG immediately after they have been dried preserves their disinfection level, preventing microbial contamination and transmission as a result of inadequate storage.
Fully adaptable PlasmaTyphoon and PlasmaBag fulfill your needs by adapting to the number of endoscopes in your fleet. It requires only limited working space and can help you to increase hospital efficiency.

A completely dry endoscope is crucial for ensuring greater hygiene and potentially mitigating cross contamination. The PlasmaTYPHOON uses an innovative approach to offer complete endoscope drying, quickly and efficiently. One to five minutes (depending on the model of the endoscope) is all that is needed to entirely dry an endoscope’s surfect and inner channels.

Perfectly dry channel
While high velocity flow would break fluid, making it more difficult to dry, PlasmaTYPHOON uses a combination of different levels of flows (laminar and turbulent) and temperature to completely dry endoscopes.*

*Validated for up to 744 storage hours (31 days) according to NF EN 16442 norm. The maximum storage time may be subject to local regulations on endoscope storage.

Ensuring that an endoscope stays dry and disinfected is as important as properly reprocessing the device in the first place. A humid storage environment facilitates microbial growth and the transmission of infectious material. This can by avoided by actively storing endoscopes. The PlasmaBAG stores dry endoscopes in their disinfected state by insufflating plasma containing ozone molecules into the storage bag, thus ensuring the disinfected state is maintained. It allows for safe endoscope transportation while also reducing the need for repeated reprocessing prior to use.

PlasmaTyphoon and PlasmaBag is a versatile solution that enables the reprocessing of endoscopes efficiently and at higher numbers, while also allowing easy and safe transportation. As drying and storage are applied to endoscopes singularly and not as an array, it is more flexible than standard methods, such as a drying cabinet. This optimizes facilities’ workflow and improves efficiency as a result of avoiding repeated reprocessing.
